Is this the official Regaleira website?
No. Pena Palace Visit is an independent visitor guide. The official site is regaleira.pt and the official online ticket office is regaleira.byblueticket.pt. Our tickets are sold by our partner Tiqets.
Where do I buy the official ticket?
At regaleira.byblueticket.pt, which the foundation calls its only official online ticket office, or at the ticket office on site.
How much is the ticket?
Officially 20 € for an adult, with the audio guide at 5 € more, sold only at the ticket office. On Tiqets, a ticket with a digital audio guide is 28 €.
What is the difference between the official and the Tiqets ticket?
The official ticket is sold by the Quinta’s foundation and admits you up to one hour after your slot, with no refund. The Tiqets ticket includes a digital audio guide and can be cancelled up to 24 hours before your slot. The foundation says it is not responsible for tickets bought on other sites.
What time does it open?
9:00 from April to September and 10:00 from October to March, according to the official page read on 22 October 2026. Check the hours before you go.
Is the aquarium open?
No. It has been closed for restoration since 16 April 2026.
Can I enter late?
On the official ticket, up to one hour after the time on it.
Is there parking?
No. The estate points to parking.sintra.pt for car parks.
How long should I allow?
About 2 to 2.5 hours, our estimate.
Which languages does the audio guide use?
The official one (5 €, ticket office only) uses Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Russian. The Tiqets one uses English, French, Spanish, Chinese, German, Italian and Portuguese.
